2015 is a very special year!
In the EU it is the European Year for Develpoment and on global scale, it is the year of major UN Summits which tackle the #EndPoverty challenge (Sustainable Development Summit in September and Climate Summit in December)!
On 25th September, world leaders met in New York & adopted 17 new global goals. These 17 goals have the potential to tackle poverty, inequality and climate change. #EndPoverty Day 2015 will be a an important day to promote them.
So, in 2015, we are making the #EndPoverty Day an #EndPoverty Month!
Let’s start to mark and celebrate our commitments on 17 September and build the momentum until 17 October!
