After extensive consultations, the International Committee for the UN Day for the Eradication of Poverty presented a proposal to the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs for this year’s 17 October theme has been accepted.
This year’s theme for #EndPoverty Day 2015 is: “Building a sustainable future: Coming together to end poverty and discrimination”
In the next few weeks the International Committee for 17 October will propose a concept note that will go into more detail about this theme.
